The creation of generative AI has revolutionized the marketing landscape in recent years. Generative AI involves algorithms that can be fed existing content to create new content variations in categories such as audio, text, videos, simulations, and more. The aim is to “teach” machine learning systems to make new usable content. 

Marketing professionals in various industries such as financial services, high-tech, and healthcare are using generative AI to solve old problems. In fact, the use of artificial intelligence has doubled over the last five years. In digital marketing companies specifically, generative AI is used for email marketing, customer service routing, fraud detection, and even free ai customer support chatbot. The technology can also help with enhancing business productivity by up to 40% as AI startups have seen a 14 times increase since 2000. 

AI is currently creating many new opportunities within the marketing space. For example, Make-A-Video is an AI tool that generates videos from text-based prompts while DALL-E is a deep learning tool that’s able to create stagnant AI images based on given prompts. However, several specialists are saying that generative AI is still in its infancy even with the rapid growth we’re seeing today. 

There is much to look forward to when it comes to generative marketing. About 22% of marketers are currently using marketing automations and AI to help personalize offers, emails, and paid ads while 31% of small businesses have adopted AI tools to help with their marketing strategies with 46% of them stating that this will create new marketing roles in the future. 

AI marketing is here and ready to take businesses to new heights.
